zikr.link can remember the last Quran verse you read if you visited a link like zikr.link/S:A (e.g., zikr.link/112:1) without an external URL attached. This "last read ayah" is then used by default when you create a generic zikr link on the homepage (the "Quran - Ayah last read" option) or if you open a zikr.link page that isn't found (e.g. a mistyped zikr.link URL). This helps you continue reading from where you left off. This information is stored only in your browser's local storage.
Where does the Quran text and translation come from?
The Quranic text (Arabic) and translations are sourced from tanzil.net, which provides highly verified Quranic resources. For efficient delivery, this data is distributed via a Content Delivery Network (CDN) at cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/zikrlink/quran. We aim to provide accurate and reliable information. English translation is Sahih International and Indonesian is from Kemenag.
Do I need to register or create an account?
No, zikr.link is free to use without any registration or account creation. We believe in simplicity and ease of access.
Will my zikr.link links expire?
No, the links you create through zikr.link do not have an expiration date. They will remain functional as long as the zikr.link service is operational.
