• Last Read Quran Ayah: If you visit a zikr.link page that displays a specific Quran verse (e.g., zikr.link/2:155 without an appended external URL), we store a reference to this Surah and Ayah number (e.g., "2:155") in your browser's local storage. This allows our Service to default to this "last read ayah" for certain features, such as the "Quran - Ayah last read" option on the homepage or when displaying a zikr for a "not found" page. This data is stored only in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove this information.

4. Cookies

zikr.link uses minimal cookies that are essential for the basic functionality of the website. These may include:

• Session cookies to maintain your session state if necessary for site operation.

• Quran Content Source (tanzil.net via CDN): To display Quranic text and translations, we fetch data sourced from tanzil.net, distributed via a CDN at cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/zikrlink/quran. When your browser requests this data, your IP address may be visible to the CDN and tanzil.net as part of standard internet communication. We do not send any personal identifiers from zikr.link to Quran.com. Please review the Quran.com privacy policy for their data handling practices.
• Favicon Fetching (Google S2 Favicon): For displaying favicons of destination URLs, we use Google's S2 favicon service. When a favicon is fetched, the hostname of the destination URL is sent to Google. No other personal data or information about your usage of zikr.link is sent.
